The 15th annual Women’s Studies Conference at UWF is scheduled for Monday, March 21 from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. in the UWF Conference Center. In addition to the presentation of the Mary F. Rogers Faculty Award, the conference will feature scholarly papers, poster presentations, visual and performance art pieces by graduate and undergraduate students that address women, gender, and sexuality.
At 6 p.m., the keynote address will be delivered by this year’s UWF Faculty ADVANCE distinguished visiting scholar Dr. Anne Fausto-Sterling, an illustrious developmental geneticist whose work has been influential in shaping our understanding of sex, gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
